Job Role: Contracts & Compliance Executive

Location: UK - Homebased with ad-hoc travel to our London office

Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 DOE

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Business Support & Compliance, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Prepare and review NDAs, SLAs, MSAs, and proposals to ensure they meet company standards and UK legal requirements.
  • Manage and maintain a library of standard contracts, updating them in line with legislation.
  • Liaise with legal counsel, the sales team, and senior leadership to address queries and resolve contract issues confidently.
  • Handle data breaches and misuse, including logging and resolving issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Ensure client compliance with licensing terms and address breaches through appropriate action.
  • Liaise with the Data Protection Officer to address GDPR, FOI, and data processing queries.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, ensuring due diligence is completed and contracts align with ISO standards.
  • Manage supplier contract renewals and monitor compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and other systems.
  • Log and manage queries through Jira, ensuring visibility and timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and maintain high standards.

In order to be successful, you’ll need:
  • Experience managing contracts, reviewing T&Cs, and mitigating risk.
  • Confidence in collaborating with legal counsel and senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data compliance processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident telephone manner.
  • Familiarity with systems like Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Jira (or similar).
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
