Responsibilities

Design and implement new service offerings on top of a strong cloud foundation
Support development teams in leveraging our larger machine learning operations (MLOps)
Drive the design, implementation, and management for expanding observability infrastructure, keeping up to date with new technologies
Lead sustainable incident response, blameless postmortems, and production improvements that result in direct business opportunities
Collaborate with software development and the infrastructure team to design, implement, and maintain multiple business offerings
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices
Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
Manage and secure cloud-based environments (AWS)
Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
Periodical On-Call responsibility, alongside your fellow team members
Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in DevOps / SRE or a related field
5+ years of experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Expertise with container based technologies, e.g. Dockers, Kubernetes
Expertise with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and cloud automation, e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation
Good understanding of networking and security concepts
Experience in defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools
Great programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell
Experience in Linux Systems Administration, scripting and troubleshooting in a production environment
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications)
Experience with microservices, serverless architecture
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana)
Knowledge in Jenkins, Groovy, CDK
