Part Time Accounts Manager

This is a remote position.

We're seeking a meticulous and organised part time Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of UK accounting principles and hands-on experience with Xero. This role will involve a diverse range of tasks, from accurate data entry to reconciling accounts and generating financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record financial transactions within our Xero accounting system.
  
• Prepare and maintain essential financial records, including invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
  
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
  
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  
• Maintain well-organised financial records and files.
  
• Contribute to tax preparation and filing processes.
  
• Undertake other duties as required.
  
• Manage payroll records and process with company Accountant.
  
• Manage Pension: joiners/leavers and uploading contributions.
  
• Manage payments into the company.
  
• Ad hoc duties as required by the company.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven bookkeeping/payroll/accounting experience.
  
• Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and practices.
  
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
