Job Description

As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of digital marketing for this dynamic indigenous art business. You’ll craft compelling narratives around unique artworks, manage engaging social media campaigns, and help bring meaningful art to a global audience. This role offers a unique blend of creativity and strategy, allowing you to showcase beautiful artwork while driving business growth and supporting important cultural initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Create captivating content that showcases artwork, merchandise, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the artistic process
  • Engage with followers, responding promptly to comments and inquiries to build a vibrant online community
  • Promote special events, fundraising campaigns, and product launches to boost visibility and sales
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to drive traffic from social platforms to the online store
  • Track and analyze social media metrics, providing insights to refine strategies and improve performance
  • Support the expansion into corporate markets by creating targeted content for B2B audiences
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the art or cultural sectors
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and trends across major platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging narratives
  • Basic photo and video editing skills to create visually appealing content
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms
  • Passion for indigenous art and culture, with a commitment to respectful representation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, creative environment
  • Experience with or interest in cause-related marketing and fundraising campaigns is a plus
