An internship in our Product and Analytics Management University (PMU) will enable you to broaden your understanding of the business, make valuable connections, and set a course for your professional journey with us. You will work on special projects that positively impact our business and our customers.     

 

PMU deliversmeaningful internship experiences in the Kemper Auto Product Management, Data Science, and Pricing teams combining knowledge of the business, technical skills, and professional skills. Intern Responsibilities 

·         Provides support to State Managers in a large state or group of small states in the quest for profitable growth 

·         Works with team members to research, conduct high-quality analyses, report, and communicate key product performance metrics 

·         Researches key business data using statistical analysis and data mining to understand historical patterns that can be utilized to improve business performance 

 

Intern Requirements & Qualifications 

·         Must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program, with a scheduled graduation between December 2025 and June 2026

·         Qualifying majors include Risk Management, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or other STEM fields

·         A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale 

·         Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

·         Energetic and eager to tackle new projects  

·         Self-directed and able to work with little supervision 

·         Interest in insurance and financial services 

·         Good collaborative and relationship-building skills  

·         This position is a hybrid role and may require regular reporting to the office.
