DuPont's Global Procurement team is looking for a Logistics Analyst, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Logistics Analyst ensures the efficient execution of material movement to meet customer demands and serve as the first point of contact to work with Business Supply Chains, Distribution Requirements Planner (DRP), Customer Service teams, warehouse, freight forwarders, and demand team (issue resolution, procedures, SAP material flow expertise).

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

  • Effectively interact with various functions – DRP, customer service, demand fulfillment specialist, logistics specialist, operations (warehouse), sales, corporate logistics, site logistics, business supply chain, external warehouse contractors, and service providers to assist in resolution of issues related to shipping or port upsets, carrier and freight forwarder performance issues (escalating/alerting), paperwork issues, transportation asset availability issues (escalating/alerting) etc.
  • Execute processes and manage/review/cross-check documentation required for product delivery and product transfers including import/export activities and customs clearance.
  • Participate (as needed) and follow up on actions based on exceptions discussed and decisions made from Decision Centers and/or coordinate response to short term actions to adjust the material movement execution plan.
  • Interact with warehouse for appropriate packaging/repackaging/labelling for meeting business needs.
  • Book space for export shipments i.e. ocean or air with freight forwarders
  • Maintains integrated relationship with broker and freight forwarder and communicates any information required to prepare paperwork, etc.
  • Interact with corporate customs and international trade group to coordinate import license needs and provide required documentation.
  • Follow product through transportation and into warehouse when released in customs, and monitor receipt of goods and goods issue.
  • Serve as contact point for contract warehouse operations to escalate issues associated with warehouse performance to resolve short term exceptions and coordinate with Logistics Specialist to perform Root Cause Corrective Action analysis.
  • Work with Logistics Specialist and other functional team to establish Logistics documentation including processes, procedures, job aides.
  • Perform periodical inventory reconciliation working with LSP/WHS and periodical physical count to ensure inventory accuracy.   Work with related parties on inventory variance root cause investigation and put corrective action in place.
  • Monitor the appropriate metrics conduct root cause analysis and take appropriate corrective actions to address logistics related issues.
  • Provide input into periodical route review and update process based on alignment with SC, CS, and logistics specialist.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics or related field.
  • Relevant experience with SAP.
  • Logistics experience is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both local language and English language.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working independently with minimal guidance.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
