Purpose of the Job
The role is responsible for maintenance of all Manufacturing Equipment and ensuring optimized utilization in support of a high-volume manufacturing operation.
Network & Relationships
•Works with Equipment Engineer in identifying troubleshooting procedures, parts, and tools to improve on performing equipment maintenance and repair.
•Works with Tooling Engineer for drawings and instructions on the fabrication of jigs and fixtures and industrial structures to be used by other internal customers.
•Works with Spare Parts Controller on Spare Parts Inventory and Control.
•Works with Continuous Improvement Teams to support CI Culture and Lean Manufacturing.
•Works with Manufacturing Engineering for continuous improvement on machine operating parameters and ensuring equipment runs based on established standards.
•Works with production technicians in investigating machine downtimes.
Key Responsibilities
•Responsible for maintenance of all production equipment and machineries to ensure optimum utilization of production equipment.
•Ensure that the maintenance program is effectively followed.
•Ensure that all equipment runs based on safe and approved operating standard.
•Maintain equipment historical and maintenance data.
•Fabricate Jigs and Fixtures and Industrial Structures to be used by Production.
Qualifications:
•Graduate of at least 2 - or 3-years Technical course or equivalent
•must have the skill on machine maintenance, troubleshooting both mechanical, electrical and electronics equipment in a manual or automated operation.
•Knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance , PLC (Allen Bradley) , CNC’s and Industrial Robotics
•Able to interpret CAD drawings and illustrations.
•Knowledge on TPM and ISO 9000 standard and good problem-solving skills.
•Has the ability to write maintenance standard.
•Able to work on own initiative and willingness to learn
