Knowledge Requirements: Duties of a systems engineer typically include managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware and web application, including: specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.
Years of Industry Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 and goes up to $160,000, based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. With company standard annual performance reviews in place, plus excellence awards for recognition, your performance will be rewarded and appreciated, we promise!

Due to the classification level of the projects we support, we are not able to offer fully remote opportunities at this time. As a Defense Contractor, we are frequently working with sensitive material, and therefore, we need to ensure where you access your work is secure.

You will have a shiny desk at our G2 Ops office, plus the opportunity to work at a military site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!). We do allow teleworking with prior approval, but supporting the DoD, you will be required to work at a military site as well. For this contingent opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, technology-driven, and team-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in support of a potential new and critical contract with NAVWAR (Naval Warfare Systems Command). In this role, you will have a direct and profound impact on transforming and enhancing the Navy’s engineering processes and policies, which directly contribute to the security and effectiveness of the warfighter.

You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to optimizing engineering practices and ensuring that the Navy's systems adhere to rigorous standards. You’ll work closely with a dynamic group of engineers to automate the development processes and integrate systems, all while ensuring compliance with NAVWAR’s engineering policies and frameworks. Your work will help improve security, operational readiness, and interoperability across the Navy's mission-critical systems.

Your ability to engage in system integration and testing will be essential to validate and verify that engineering processes are followed and that solutions meet the Navy’s operational requirements. The work you do will be foundational in driving process improvements and enhancing the Navy’s overall engineering capabilities.
