Job description

Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

From the moment you wake up in the morning, until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all of the shopping you do online throughout the day. Chances are that every single one of those interactions or experiences was touched by an Adobe product. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Digital Media team in the UK

What you'll Do

The role of a Business Development Representative in the UK is to assist prospects in re-imagining their customer experiences with Adobe solutions. Alongside this, you will generate new sales opportunities for your Account Executives (AEs).

  • Identify and build high-value opportunities in the sales pipeline and develop relationships with prospective high-value accounts.

  • Deliver a consultative approach to selling, understanding the prospect’s business, goals, objectives, and challenges before recommending a solution.

  • Consistently achieve quality pipeline and other metrics such as inbound lead follow-up and outbound account engagement metrics.

  • Research target accounts, identify decision-makers, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate need.

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to build sales-ready leads and opportunities.

  • Route prospects and current customers to appropriate colleagues to assist in solving problems and driving value.

  • Set up, attend, and run first-level qualification meetings with customers before passing them on to relevant Account Executives and Solution Consultants.

  • Partner with Sales and Specialist teams to further qualify and generate pipeline.

  • Update CRM, Outreach/Salesloft, and other tools to ensure logging of key history and ensure a smooth hand-off to the Account Executive.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to run and assist in performing lead generation campaigns and follow up on leads.

  • Run outbound campaigns to ensure a balanced pipeline built across territories.

  • Provide closed-loop feedback to the BDR organization to ensure continuous process optimizations.

What you need to succeed

  • 2 to 3 minimum years of experience in Sales/Business Development with knowledge of SaaS applications.

  • Proven track record of successful business development in enterprise solutions, software, or tech sales environment.

  • Strong sales skills delivering inbound and outbound experiences and building relationships at multiple levels within an organization.

  • Experience running all areas of the SDR process including account planning, pre-call preparation, opportunity qualification, and objection handling.

  • Self-starter with high motivation, independence, resilience, and ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams to deliver pipeline creation goals.

  • Strong communication, including listening, written, and verbal skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex business problems and translate customers' needs into solution plays.

  • Proficient with standard corporate efficiency tools (email, voicemail, MS Office) and experience with sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, SFDC, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Lusha, etc.

  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize key tasks.

  • Great teammate with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple partners across sales, marketing, and solution teams.
