We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our digital ad sales team based in our New York, New York headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY

The position of Account Manager will play an important role in managing & growing AMC Networks’ key programmatic platform and agency (linear and digital), advertising partnerships. This AM will be responsible for providing strategic oversight to pre- and post-sale activities to ensure client satisfaction as well as the development and growth of these relationships. 

As an Account Manager, you manage the day-to-day activities for our team and partner to develop, execute and manage complex cross platform and linear campaigns. Your deep understanding of your clients’ business objectives and analytical mindset will shape future strategies through data driven insights and recommendations. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Build strong relationships with clients/agencies, while driving digital, programmatic, and addressable live linear revenue across the AMCN.   
  • Collaborate with various internal teams such as Sales Planners, Ad Operations, Assistants, Marketing, Finance, Partnerships, and Research.  
  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between AMCN and our agencies, DSPs, and advertisers.  
  • Actively sell, prospect and manage platform and independent agencies from sales list to grow cross platform sales revenue; Gain insight into customer’s needs and translate those into sellable and presentable opportunities by strategically positioning our solutions & ideas in the market. 
  • Lead client meetings/presentations showcasing AMCN’s product offerings. 
  • Track all meetings, campaign status & prospected clients on a weekly basis in salesforce and in excel tracker. 
  • Up-sell and renew existing campaigns/clients, with new, innovative, and strategic ideas that focus on retention and growing business. 
  • Work with teams to set up/implement programs and help ensure client's ad specs are met and communicate any changes to our client's and their DSPs to troubleshoot campaign performance by investigating ad server bugs, third party discrepancies and under-delivery issues. 
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and help document workflows to ensure streamlined operations.  Present product enhancement recommendations to internal teams. 
  • Set up/monitor programmatic deals for campaigns across DSPs and SSPs, guaranteeing precise and timely setup and ensuring full delivery of campaigns. 
  • Assist in reporting duties based on client requests and campaign auditing and support ad hock client requests.  
  • Represent AMCN at industry events, networking opportunities and emerging ad technologies. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) 

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in Advertising or Media 
  • Excellent understanding of major SSP’s, DSP, Trading Desks and Agency 
  • Prior Experience using FreeWheel & SSP Platforms  
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook  
  • Proven track record of client customer success, stakeholder management and ability to drive incremental revenue 
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and manage time accordingly 

The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 commensurate with experience.
