Patient Access Account Manager
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for the operational oversight of Amgen’s patient support strategic partnership program relationships including performance management, reporting and budget coordination
Responsibilities for this role will include the following:
- Provide oversight to the program performance management and delivery and execution of reporting requirements in support of external partners.
- Ensure high quality performance of program operations and adherence to contractual requirements
- Manage ongoing PO processes which includes tracking invoices and allocating utilization appropriately.
- Serve as a point of contact regarding budget questions/issues with our business partners
- Meet with collaborators to ensure accuracy and transparency through reporting and forecasting cycles
- Ensure data delivery through efficient process development and understanding data needs to effectively communicate program performance
- Create and present program performance and budget updates on a monthly basis
- Identify customer, access and program performance trends while following through to resolve issues and elevate performance
- Collaborate with copay, call center and nurse services internal leaders and vendors (via regular meetings, reports, and other communications) in establishing processes for cross-collaboration in support service offerings
- Provide ownership of budget adherence and reconcile invoices to annual budget and identify trends impacting spend. Proactively recommend and manage budget adjustments with internal and external partners as needed

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
Or
Master’s degree and 2 years of analytics, reporting or sales and marketing operations, experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of analytics, reporting or sales and marketing operations, experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 8 years of analytics, reporting or sales and marketing operations, experience
High school diploma / GED and 10analytics, reporting or sales and marketing operations, experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in reimbursement and patient support service programs
- Data and analytics experience in support of customer deliverables
- Budget and PO related experience
- Ability to lead projects from concept development through execution
- Experience effectively managing vendors and providing accountability for service levels and program optimization
- Strong organizational skills - to set targets, track to milestones and complete projects
- Ability to successfully prioritize a diverse workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and to influence without authority
- Confidence in working with various levels of staff
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
- Ability to influence others while fostering a value-based environment of high performance and fairness
- Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
