Job Title: Technical Services: Senior Administrator, Microsoft Intune

Job Location: India (Remote)

Job Overview:

The Senior Administrator, Microsoft Intune leads the configuration, management, and strategic development of the Microsoft Intune environment to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient operations across all managed devices. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise-level device management, security compliance, and application deployment, working with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions aligned with Microsoft’s industry standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Intune Management and Configuration:
  • Lead the administration of Microsoft Intune for enterprise-wide device management, including complex configurations and policies.
  • Develop and implement advanced device compliance, configuration profiles, and conditional access policies.
  • Drive software distribution, updates, and patch management strategies for all devices, ensuring efficiency and security.
  • Security and Compliance Leadership:
  • Architect and enforce comprehensive security policies in collaboration with the Information Security team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Regularly review and optimize Intune security settings, conducting audits to maintain strict adherence to standards.
  • Enterprise Application Management:
  • Oversee the deployment, management, and lifecycle of enterprise applications through Intune.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to package and deploy complex applications, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Device Lifecycle and Automation:
  • Lead the design and automation of device enrollment, provisioning, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to device onboarding, compliance, and configuration.
  • Proactive Monitoring and Advanced Reporting:
  • Oversee real-time monitoring and proactive issue resolution to ensure optimal performance of the Intune environment.
  • Generate strategic reports on device compliance, application deployment, and security incidents, providing insights to executive leadership.
  • Documentation and Mentorship:
  • Create and maintain in-depth technical documentation for complex configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide advanced training and mentorship to IT staff and end-users on Intune operations and best practices.
  • Strategic Collaboration and Support:
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for critical Intune-related issues, resolving complex problems quickly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external vendors and Microsoft, to align Intune strategies with broader organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Education
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years focusing on Microsoft Intune and enterprise-level device management.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or other relevant certifications.
  • Skills/Competencies
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Windows Autopilot.
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and automation of device management processes.
  • Ability to develop and implement advanced security and compliance strategies.
  • Leadership in troubleshooting, support, and mentoring within the IT environment.

  • Develop and implement complex device compliance, configuration profiles, and conditional access policies.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced device onboarding and compliance issues.
  • Monitor Intune environment performance, proactively resolving issues and generating executive-level reports.
  • Create and maintain in-depth documentation for advanced configurations and processes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to IT staff on Intune best practices.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for critical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and Microsoft to align strategies with organizational goals.
