Job description

As a HCM Workday Manager, you will be diving in with extensive experience in core internal functions, collaborating to design, upgrade, and maintain system integrity, while leveraging technology to support key HR and employee workflows.

You will be an essential member of our team as we navigate through a transformative phase, enhancing our Workday infrastructure in response to our expansive change. This growth has reshaped the landscape of our Workday platform, necessitating a strategic overhaul to align with our evolving organisational structure and operational demands.

In this role, you will not only lead projects but also play a critical role in training and supporting our employees in maximizing their use of Workday. Your guidance and expertise will empower teams and drive overall growth and success within our organization.

Shift Timing: 2pm - 11pm IST

What You’ll Be Doing.


  • Serve as an Subject Matter Expert in Workday HCM.
  • Work closely together with our global team of HR and other Business stakeholders to provide solutions for complex queries.
  • Provides functional system support to the HR Team on Workday processes.
  • Responsible for understanding new functionality and assisting business stakeholders in using Workday effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead end to end project activities including requirement gathering, solution design, test development & implementation
  • Stay current with Workday releases, new features, and best practices, and make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
  • Manage and support key technical initiatives to deploy additional Workday functionality on the application roadmap.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, delivering project updates, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, while emphasising the need for ongoing training and upskilling among team members


You’ll Need To Have


  • 5+ years of work experience in the field of HR (Cloud) transformation and in-depth Workday knowledge (including configuration), with a specialisation in at least two of the functional domains.
  • Support various HRIS tasks and projects within the Workday HRIS ecosystem including but not limited to need analysis, impact analysis, documentation of business requirements, configuring and unit testing solutions in Workday, building test scripts, co ordinating testing efforts including UAT, preparing for production roll out, help with change management efforts.
  • Strong configuration skills in Workday HRIS, Manager and Employee self-service, Core Compensation and/or Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Management, Workday reporting including complex reports and calculated fields.
  • Work with Workday Security Admin to implement security changes needed for solutions being delivered.
  • Proficiency in generating and populating Workday EIB templates, and loading data using advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to see the bigger picture without losing sight of details.
  • Excellent Analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and team-building skills.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and flexibility to prioritise and organise projects/tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
