What you'll be doing

The Senior Business Analyst will be a part of the Finance PMO team working on various ongoing regulatory and maintain operations projects, mainly initiatives related to Finance Controllership and Treasury to ensure the integrity of captured data in Finance and Treasury owned applications. The role is responsible to elicit requirements from business teams, suggest changes/improvements, ensure seamless development and end-to-end testing through all cycles. Also will properly document all activities and in accordance with the enterprise delivery framework guidelines.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Documentation - Work closely with subject matter experts in Finance and other Capital Markets data users to understand existing processes and document current and target state data and process requirements.  Collaborate with Technology teams to articulate and validate business requirements to design and build the target state platforms.

  • Relationship Management –  Liaise daily with multiple stakeholders across Finance and Technology teams. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. Collaborate with business leaders, IT groups and/or vendors to ensure actions items, risk mitigations and issue resolutions are  communicated clearly and accurately

  • Leading and Mentoring – Support project implementation as a data subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse cross-functional team of Finance, Technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

  • Project Support - Undertake project support related activities, development of deliverables, workshop preparation, use cases, synthesize outputs, review and update deliverables. Participate in testing, conversion validation and cutover activities

  • Facilitation - Support the overall facilitation of any workshops, documenting any action items and the development of deliverables

What You'll Be Doing

  • You can demonstrate 5+ years experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management. You have a deep understanding of the practices, procedures, and principles required around documentation, management and execution of business processes You have the ability to analyze detailed concepts, quickly resolve project issues, and assess the advantages and disadvantages of solutions.  It’s an asset if you relevant experience or a background in project management.

  • You have a degree/diploma in a related field of study. It’s an asset if you have your PMP designation.
