As a Finance Analyst at Ridgeline, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring and improving the financial health of our Go-to-Market initiatives.  Working at the intersection of finance, sales, and data, you’ll help deliver insights that shape the trajectory of our company. In this role, you’ll leverage cutting-edge technologies, including AI tools like ChatGPT, to automate processes, enhance accuracy, and provide meaningful analysis to drive decisions. You will be a key member of the team in ensuring we continue to build a profitable and sustainable business. Our team is committed to creating a lasting impact on the investment management industry and driving transformative change.

What will you do?:

  • Build and maintain robust financial models  and analytical frameworks around sales forecasting, profitability, acquisition costs, services costs, headcount-related expenses and other key metrics. 
  • Play a significant role in generating periodic internal reporting around GTM progress to date presented to Ridgeline Leadership
  • Own our revenue forecast model, including maintaining our customer database and keeping assumptions up-to-date as we expand our customer base
  • Collaborate with with Finance & GTM leadership to brainstorm and develop processed to monitor KPIs
  • Lead efforts in annual GTM budgeting cycle including analyzing historical trends, understanding forecasts, identifying hurdles, and refining projections
  • Monitor budget versus. actual performance and identify areas of opportunity and risk for departments. 
  • Collect and maintain critical datasets across systems like Salesforce, QuickBooks, Adaptive Planning and Google Sheets to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of technology, banking, private equity, corporate finance, economics or consulting experience in a fast-paced industry
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience handling and analyzing large sets of data 
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills including financial modeling and general accounting and finance knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills focused on synthesizing key information in a simple and straightforward manner
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
  • Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in a business domain/problem space.
  • An aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Serious interest in having fun at work

Bonus:

  • Experience using Workato, Salesforce, Hubspot, and Adaptive Planning
  • Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides

Compensation and Benefits 

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $100,000 - $115,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
