Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement comprehensive plans to enhance revenue and profitability through tailored channel and customer-specific strategies. This includes overseeing in-store merchandising, executing resets, and planning customer events.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build partnerships with colleagues across various departments to formulate and execute strategic plans for expanding our channels, particularly within the kitchen, bath, showering, and bathing categories for the Lowe's business.
- Market Insights Utilization: Leverage customer and market insights to address challenges and inform product pipeline and go-to-market strategies, ensuring customer success and minimizing channel conflicts.
- Analytical Application: Utilize analytics to guide the innovation pipeline, aiming to increase margins and enhance shelf share.
- Budget Management: Efficiently manage marketing and display budgets to maximize impact.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with retail marketing, sales teams, and internal cross-functional teams to achieve annual growth objectives and key performance metrics.
- Creative Development: Collaborate with internal creative teams, external agencies, and customer creative teams to produce customer-specific marketing assets, collateral, promotions, advertising, digital activations, and merchandising.
- Event Coordination: Organize customer-specific events and meetings to strengthen relationships and drive engagement.
- Project Leadership: Apply specialized expertise to lead significant projects or processes with minimal oversight, tackling complex problems with innovative solutions.
Work Environment
This position offers flexibility, with options for remote or hybrid/in-person work at our headquarters in Carmel, Indiana, or our satellite office in Mooresville, NC. The role may require travel of 25% or more, depending on the candidate's location.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant work experience with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Skills: Strong presentation skills and experience in managing customer relationships are essential. Financial proficiency and excellent data analytics skills are also required.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Lowe's is highly preferred.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and network across all functions and levels of the organization.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and drive accountability within a team-based environment.
- Project Management: A clear portfolio or demonstration of project management skills that yield significant business outcomes.
- Organizational Capability: A consistent history of enhancing organizational capability through data visibility, integrity, and training.
