Position Summary

As a Deal Desk Sr Manager or Director at Thales you will lead strategic initiatives related to deal structuring and pricing to accelerate revenue growth. This pivotal role involves overseeing a global team that implements scalable and disciplined deal management practices, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations. Fostering a culture of collaboration among sales, finance, legal and operations teams is essential for success.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Build a High-Performing Team: Develop and lead a global deal desk team responsible for designing deal structures and efficiently coordinating deal flows.
  • Oversee Deal Desk Operations: Scale the deal flow process for optimal deal velocity through automation and standardization.
  • Develop Strategies: Create and implement deal desk strategies that achieve revenue targets and drive growth.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements and transformation opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform deal strategies and pricing decisions.
  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a strategic advisor to sales leadership on deal economics, pricing models, and competitive positioning.


Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years in Deal Desk or Deal Strategy within a fast-paced B2B tech environment; SaaS, Usage, and Hardware experience preferred
  • 6+ years in hiring, managing, and coaching global team members.
  • Proven track record of building key deal desk processes from scratch.
  • Experience running a Deal Desk in a $500+ million revenue tech company
  • Experience expanding Deal Desk across acquired companies preferred


The anticipated TTC range for this role is $92,500 - 194,000 Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
