POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, the Technical Recruiter is the face of the overall organization as it pertains to employment opportunities. They are a frontline resource for attracting, screening, and evaluating all potential future employees. The Technical Recruiter will manage a full-cycle recruitment process for technical and non-technical position from initial posting through candidate on-boarding.
This position is available for remote work within the continental United States. However, priority preference will be given to candidates living within a 2-hour commuting radius of our Houston, TX or Corvallis, OR office locations and willing to be in-office weekly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies, screens & follows up with candidates for open positions and maintains talent pipelines via an applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Conducts regular meetings with hiring managers to review candidates and recruiting metrics.
- Independently sources, identifies, and screens candidates utilizing various search sites including working with approved external staffing partners.
- Schedules and coordinates interviews conducted via telephone, video, or in-person.
- Documents and maintains candidate profile information in the applicant tracking system.
- Conduct candidate reference checks.
- Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the staffing process.
- Presents verbal offers and formal written offers of employment.
- Assists with report generation.
- Attends job fairs and other recruiting events as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
- Education: A minimum of a 4-year degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other relevant field is required. Alternatively, an additional 4 years (9 total) of full-time, directly applicable working experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of full-time working experience in a Human Resources environment, or other area where personnel decisions are made, with at least 2 of those years being specifically involved in full-cycle, Corporate Recruitment, is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in an engineering or other technical setting. Prior experience in US Commercial Nuclear is preferred. Other required skills are as follows:
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
- Experience working remotely with minimal direct supervision.
- Experience with a high volume of often repetitive work details (candidate interviews, scheduling, documentation, etc).
- Experience negotiating employment offers.
- Experience with the management and/or administration of databases.
- Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Pay and Benefits:
The target pay range for this position is $84,736 - $102,268 annually. The full pay range is $75,970 - $118,826.
