About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant specialising in Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your SMSF expertise in a public practice setting while benefiting from a culture that supports career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SMSF administration, compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring full compliance with Australian regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for investment corporations and investment trusts.
• Drive efficiencies in SMSF processes and compliance procedures.
• Stay up to date with tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, sharing insights with the team.
• Stay up to date with BGL software enhancements.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Interacting with clients.

About You:

• Experience: At least 5 years in Australian public practice accounting, with strong SMSF expertise.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in BGL 360.
• Organised & Detail-Oriented: Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Team Player: Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
