As Publicis Sapient's Commerce Center of Excellence, we are not just strategic thinkers, accomplished engineers, and award-winning experience designers. We are also firm believers that outstanding customer experiences are the result of a perfect blend of flawless technology and beautiful, human-centered design. With 20+ years of experience in commerce technology, we understand that customer expectations are constantly evolving. That's why we've committed to building future-proof solutions and refining an agile execution process, ensuring our clients can achieve more with less.

Winner of multiple Best Places to Work awards, we offer exciting and challenging projects with industry leading companies, competitive health benefits, flexible work arrangements, ongoing career development, company outings, and many other bonuses.

We’re seeking an experienced Director/Senior Manager of SEO and Content Strategy to lead and drive the SEO and content initiatives for our clients, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable results across mid to enterprise-level eCommerce businesses. This role demands a balance of technical SEO expertise and creative content strategy, coupled with strong leadership skills to guide a team of high-performing senior SEO strategists.

In this role, you will develop and execute strategies that combine data-driven insights and innovative solutions, driving impactful results. You will also manage and mentor a team, fostering an environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and excellence. Your focus will be on technical delivery with client satisfaction and team development, contributing to the growth of both the clients' businesses and Corra.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Lead the creation of integrated SEO and content strategies for eCommerce brands, aligning technical SEO initiatives with content goals to maximize organic performance.

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of senior-level SEO strategists, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Ensure clear career development paths and regular performance feedback.

  • Technical SEO & Site Optimization: Oversee comprehensive technical SEO projects, audits, and implementations, including site architecture, mobile optimization, site speed, and crawlability improvements for headless and composable frameworks.

  • Content Strategy & Optimization: Develop and oversee content strategies that resonate with target audiences and align with brand objectives, leveraging a blend of keyword-driven and creative content approaches.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze performance data to provide actionable insights, demonstrating the ROI of SEO efforts to clients. Develop and maintain regular reports for senior management and clients, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.

  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders, understanding their business objectives, communicating progress, and aligning SEO initiatives with overall business goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, UX, and web development teams to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into website projects and product development processes and life cycles.

  • Commercial Accountability: Manage budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring delivery of client projects on time and within budget, while meeting agency profitability targets.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of SEO experience with a minimum of 4+ years in an agency setting, managing diverse client portfolios and navigating fast-paced, client-driven environments.

  • Technical SEO Expertise: In-depth understanding of technical SEO principles, including schema, structured data, CWV, and expertise in managing SEO for headless and composable websites (experience with platforms like Adobe, Shopify, PWA, etc. preferred).

  • Content Strategy Knowledge: Strong experience in developing SEO-focused content strategies for eCommerce brands, with a balance of creative storytelling and keyword optimization.

  • Analytical & Creative Mindset: Ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy, with a strong balance of analytical rigor and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Team Management: Proven experience managing, mentoring, and growing a team of senior direct reports, with strong people-management skills and a collaborative approach to leadership.

  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage the commercial aspects of the role, balancing delivery and client satisfaction with profitability, resource allocation, and budgeting.

  • Project Management: Solid experience in agile methodologies, with a proven ability to manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients and collaborate effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar.

  • Familiarity with UX principles and web performance tools, including Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals, with an understanding of their impact on SEO and user experience.

  • CRO experience to drive SEO and content optimization that enhances on-site engagement and conversion rates.

  • Previous experience with international SEO and large-scale eCommerce implementations is a plus.

Potential Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
