Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instructional Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences across various formats. This role will focus on supporting the creation of engaging and effective educational programs, primarily within the context of professional development.This full-time position provides a taxable salary with government-mandated contributions, ensuring you receive all the benefits of regular employment.

Job Description:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and deliver engaging instructional materials.
  • Develop course content, including curriculum, learning modules, assessments, and multimedia resources.
  • Ensure instructional content aligns with learning objectives and meets the needs of the target audience.
  • Utilize instructional design models  to create and refine educational materials.
  • Implement best practices in instructional design and learning theories to enhance learner outcomes.
  • Regularly evaluate and revise course content based on feedback and assessments.
  • Ensure accessibility of learning materials to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to faculty or instructors using learning management systems (LMS) and other teaching technologies.


Requirements
  • Professional Development: Proven experience in developing training programs or courses, particularly in a professional or corporate development environment.
  • Instructional Design Expertise: Strong understanding of instructional design principles, tools, and techniques.
  • TAE 16 or 22 Certification: Possession of TAE 16 or TAE 22 certification (or similar) is required, ensuring familiarity with Australian vocational education and training standards.
  • Learning Management System (LMS): Preferable experience with Canvas or similar learning management platforms, with the ability to design and manage online courses effectively.
  • Assessment Knowledge: Ability to create and assess learning outcomes, ensuring they meet educational standards and learner expectations.
