Role Overview: As an Inside Sales Representative at Intellicene, you’ll be part of a dynamic team where each day presents new opportunities to engage with prospects, support business growth, and collaborate across departments. You will play a pivotal role in driving lead generation and building long-term business relationships with customers and partners while supporting marketing campaigns and attending industry events.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and engage leads, contributing to the sales pipeline. You will consistently meet or exceed lead creation targets and work to set up high-quality business meetings for the sales team.
  • Outbound Sales Activities: Execute structured outbound sales strategies, including cold calls, personalized emails, and social selling to engage potential customers and build relationships.
  • Sales Data & CRM Management: Accurately record all sales activities, interactions, and customer information in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring a seamless handover to regional sales managers.
  • Conference & Event Support: Represent Intellicene at industry events and conferences (both state and national), providing on-site support and networking to drive brand awareness and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Inbound Lead Follow-Up: Serve as the point of contact for inbound marketing leads generated through website, social media, and events, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion into sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Develop an in-depth understanding of Intellicene’s full product suite and effectively demonstrate features and benefits to prospective clients.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to support lead nurturing, targeted campaigns, and promotional initiatives that drive engagement in target markets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with prospects, customers and partners, understanding their needs, challenges, and pain points, positioning Intellicene as a trusted partner.

Key Performance Metrics:

  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly lead creation and sales pipeline targets.
  • Number of outbound sales activities completed (calls, emails, touchpoints).
  • Conversion rate from inbound leads to qualified opportunities.
  • Timely follow-up on all marketing-driven inquiries.
  • Accurate maintenance of customer and sales data in SFDC.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a sales or account management role. Preferred experience within the physical security industry, either working for an integrator or for a VMS, PSIM, or access control manufacturer.
  • CRM Proficiency: Strong familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, for tracking leads and sales activities.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence prospects at all levels.
  • Sales & Marketing Alignment: Experience working closely with marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns and drive business growth.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and products, especially those related to security software and video management systems.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% to attend industry events and conferences as required.
