Liberator Medical Supply, a subsidiary of BD, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to oversee all aspects of projects to assure the highest level of accuracy and quality. You will lead projects and teams building solutions which enable our teams to make accurate customer-first decisions at every level, at the speed business demands. Our vision is to create world-class service capabilities making it easier for customers to manage their condition, improve their lives, and access and consume our products. We are implementing solutions that are customer-centric, integrated, efficient, flexible, scalable and user-friendly. You will work closely with various business, operations, product, and technology teams to design and execute project designs and ensure proper implementation of project elements.

The ideal candidate fosters teamwork and can build strong interpersonal relationships with the Operations teams, Technology team, Leadership, and Stakeholders with a focus on building the right functionality in the right order and helping overcome obstacles. This is a highly visible, business impacting position. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, facilitate, coordinate, and track day-to-day activities required to ensure projects are completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals, departmental policies, and established processes

  • Determines appropriate project deliverables which may include, communication plans, risk plans, resource plans, architecture plans, implementation plans and quality plans.  Using all governance tools (scope document, project status reports, risk and change logs, tollgates, etc.), for all assigned projects, to effectively manage all projects

  • Prepares project status reports by aggregating information from different sources or locations. Analyzes timelines, and summarizes information and trends including translating them into cohesive strategy that is effectively communicated to all project participants.

  • Remove blockers and always find the path forward in challenging situations

  • Establish collaborative and productive relationships with product management, governance, UX design, vendors, and other supporting teams

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identify risks to project success; develop effective action plans for resolution

  • Understands Business Architecture and Technical Solution Architecture, working with IT and external partners to evaluate and implement new technologies

  • Possess the necessary skills to fulfill the role of System Delivery Analysts in order to be able to assist with those deliverables on large projects and/or complete these deliverables for less complex projects

  • Supports and participates in User Acceptance Testing and implementation, and coordinates remediation efforts.

ANCILLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be able to “push back” on team members about discrepancies and escalate issues and risks, as well as drive resolutions to ensure transparency in project reporting.

  • Must demonstrate an ability to establish relationships and build rapport in order to influence colleagues at all levels, uncover business or technical issues, and facilitate their resolution.

  • Must be able to present information concisely and clearly to all levels of management.

  • Must be able to prioritize business needs and ensure technology teams have the necessary information to perform.

  • Must be a high-energy, hands-on contributor, comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, entrepreneurial work environment.

  • Leads and inspires the team via open communication, effective listening, and strong collaborative networks.

  • Uses analytical experience to build a road map to meet the needs of the customers.

  • Review and approve forecasts associated with your project

  • Create business case financial models

  • Forecast, monitor and report on project financials, and maintain financials in project management tools

  • Displays strong initiative, addressing issues without prompting
     

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field preferred

  • Must have experience collaborating with senior level managers within a company to drive completion of a program from start to finish.

  • Extensive Experience in practicing and leading Agile methodologies

  • Extensive experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar

  • Familiarity with Mural/Miro or similar a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce technology implementations a plus

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of proven experience as a program or project manager

  • 3+ years of proven experience in agile technology environment

  • A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience managing multiple, complex projects concurrently

  • Familiarity with providing information technology project management

  • Familiarity with policies and practices of working in a healthcare environment

  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar office productivity tools.

  • Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

  • Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts productive meetings.

Licensure or Certifications required:  

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other professional development related specifically to project management preferred
