Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Position Summary
The Implementation Consultant will assist new and existing clients in the implementation of our MIP Accounting Software platform. Evaluate client needs, develop configurations that support business processes and customer technical environments. Test and troubleshoot final system setups. Provide software training during and after the implementation process. Requires strong technical and project management skills, and ability to communicate to various levels within the client's organization.
A Day in the Life
- Use the MIP Fund Accounting software to help clients configure the software
- Provide hands on guidance to clients on best practices in leveraging the software
- Evaluate clients’ needs to create solutions in order to meet functional, technical and reporting requirements
- Perform and/or support data conversion support
- Define, develop and support product testing to ensure customer needs are met
- Works with minimal supervision
We are looking for someone who brings
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
- Requires 2+ years of related experience in accounting, consulting, software implementation
- Experience in SQL databases and database management required
- Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to learn and understand complex accounting software applications
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team are necessary
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of Community Brand’s Fund Accounting software preferred
- Nonprofit industry experience (Fundraising, CRM, ERP) is a plus
- Role requires up to 25% travel - preferred candidate's location will be within the continental US.
