Index Analytics is seeking a Sr. Project Consultant to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Sr. Project Consultant will collaborate with project leadership, staff, and customers to define requirements, develop solutions, and contribute to Index’s delivery of services and solutions
Responsibilities
- As a strategic advisor, provide programmatic insights, historical understanding, thought leadership, and support on key tasks and decisions.
- Work collaboratively with the Program Director, Project Manager, Operations Lead, Data Analysts, and others on a variety of tasks.
- Organize and prioritize critical issues for project leadership to facilitate efficient decision-making and delivery execution.
- Develop and implement workflows and tactics to support complex analytic tasks for government.
- Identify and validate business needs and application requirements
- Prepare materials for the development and operations teams to use in program increment planning
- Support project managers with managing the client relationship and deliverables.
- Work with stakeholders to define how the project will meet contract and stakeholder requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of work experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Program Integrity (CPI) and its programs required.
- 5+ years programming experience, including healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse, preferably with Medicare.
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex requirements into actionable work items.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Ability to work with engineering and analytics teams to discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, and evaluate new ideas.
- Excellent written and oral communication required.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, organization, and time management skills.
- Experience adapting legacy SAS code for use in Snowflake preferred.
- Experience converting SAS code to Python preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques using R, Python, SQL, SPSS, STATA, Access, Excel, and/or other databases preferred.
- Experience with Tableau design, development, deployment preferred.
The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
