Our client, a leading global chemical company, is expanding its team in Italy and is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth and strengthen their market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on clients within industries such as automotive, construction, electronics, and specialty chemicals that utilize silane products.
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and increase market share in Italy.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and offering customized solutions.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of silane products and applications, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to clients for a competitive edge in the market.
- Partner closely with product development, marketing, and technical support teams to align on product offerings and address customer requirements.
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and new business opportunities in the silane sector.
Requirements
- 5+ Years in business development or sales within the chemical industry, with a proven track record in silane product sales strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of silane chemistry and its applications across various industries.
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential for client interaction and internal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel within Italy and occasionally internationally as required.
