Overview

We are seeking a Backend Software Developer with a focus on databases to join our team. This role provides the opportunity to work in an innovative energy sector company, fully remote within Germany, with occasional on-site visits.

Responsibilities

Database Development:
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend database technologies, ensuring robust and efficient performance.
Product Customization:
Adapt solutions to specific client requirements and contribute to ongoing internal product development.
Collaborative Workflow:
Work closely with product and project managers to incorporate market feedback and refine the product lifecycle.
Task Management:
Create technical specifications and oversee task planning and execution using SCRUM methodologies and Jira.

Skills and Experience

Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
Expertise in UML and Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling.
Strong skills in software architecture and conceptual planning.
German at B2 level (C1 preferred).
English at B2 level or higher.
Experience with Oracle databases.
Familiarity with Java, Spring 4, AngularJS, TypeScript, Hibernate, or Maven.
Knowledge of energy market processes and relevant business functions.
