Project Specialist | 12-Month Secondment | Multiple Locations

The primary purpose of this role is to work with key business unit stakeholders, external vendors, and project managers to support and provide administrative assistance to projects.

 

You'll be responsible for:

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, incident/issues coordination, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Organise, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Undertake project specific tasks as required.
  • Assist and support the Head of General Insurance Claims Controlling and Internal Controls Manager, in the delivery and management of project resources and artefacts.
  • Actively contribute to improvement initiatives to improve processes and templates that are integral to the project.

 

About you:

  • Experience providing administrative support in a project environment within a complex, matrixed general insurance or financial services organisation.
  • Demonstrated Understanding of MS Office and SharePoint (desirable)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the claims area (desirable)
  • High attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and can quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
