Job description

Fundraising and Partnerships Manager
The organization is a high growth ed-tech non-profit with the mission of catalyzing early childhood education and community engagement in India. They work with the central government and state governments to impact over 1mn children. Established by a passionate founding group (IIT, IIM, HBS, Rochester, MBB, start-up alumni), board and backed by reputed funders, they are a diverse team of passionate, energetic and optimistic folks with a shared ambition of transforming India's education system.

Location - Remote work permissible. Bangalore / Delhi preferred


Overview:

The organization is currently looking for a Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to work directly with the Fundraising and Partnerships Lead and the Co-founders in a Senior role. The candidate will be expected to establish, grow and lead partnerships with key investors and stakeholders at a state, national and global level.


Key Results

1. Identify and engage in funding and partnership opportunities with international donors, NGOs, and government partners.
2. Co-leading relationship management with key ecosystem partners, maintaining excellent relationships and identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships - shared programmes, learning, insights etc.
3. Strong relationships and partnerships built and sustained with key government and civil society officials, stakeholders and advocates through a network map approach.
4. Inspire, motivate and support the entire team to see the value and their role in fundraising and partnerships.

Key Activities

1. Co-leading the investor partnerships value chain (ranging across developing specific initiatives with different investors, monitoring implementation, conducting analysis and preparing reports to manage relationships with the investors).
2. Developing strategic partnerships and collaborations with governments and innovative organizations in the education space to develop cutting edge solutions.
3. Managing relationships and communications with Board members and advisors, impact funds, foundations, HNIs and CSR organizations.
4. Develop, implement and maintain a detailed fundraising strategy, pipeline and plan to grow and supplement current revenue streams.
5. Actively identify and nurture potential donors and funding windows through landscape mapping, networking and relationship building.
6. Build and maintain relationships with previous and potential funding partners and work with them to develop proposals and budgets that align with both our strategy and that of the funder.
7. Researching on investors and understanding critical requirements for each investor.
8. Representing Rocket Learning at national and international events and symposia to create greater visibility and a partnerships and advocacy pipeline.
9. Designing and conducting investor events to develop relationships (financial, knowledge sharing, etc.) with new partners and leverage the national focus on foundational skills
10. Any other activities required to generate funds and develop partnerships to enable exponential expansion of Rocket Learning.

2. Education qualification: Minimum graduate with 3 years of work experience
3. Demonstrating leading successful fund-raising/partnership efforts in the ECCE space is critical.
