Position Summary
Responsible for financial reporting and analysis as well as budgeting and forecasting for the department. This position ensures compliance with the university, federal, international, and other requirements, regulations and policies. Processes transaction approvals and oversight to align with Internal Controls. Acts as a liaison and resource for department directors and managers regarding budget and financial issues.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist assigned department with workflow issues, prepare and analyze various reports; includes journal entries, variance analysis and schedules for senior management and external auditors.
- Coordinate and take a lead role in the department including collaborating with management on special projects.
- Review account and Workday transactions prepared by staff.
- Analyze grant and research project expense reports for planning and decision making.
- Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reporting.
- Assist with fiscal year-end, prepare schedules and compile reports as needed.
- Cross train in other areas to provide leadership and support when needed.
- Complete special projects and other work as assigned by management.

Salary Range
$53,100.00 - $90,600.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
