Job Summary:
In your pivotal role as Research Program Manager, you will provide program management for project activities. You will perform tasks related to the execution and operations of the project, as well as foster collaboration between team members, both internal and external to the project team. Additionally, you will maintain communication across project teams and support regulatory/IRB needs, which may include drafting initial responses and managing IRB/regulatory correspondence. You will provide expertise on project meetings on how to manage needs with regulatory/IRB. You will manage trainings for staff/collaborators and formulate, design, and revise research proposal forms, which are to be completed by research investigators who intend to do research involving human subjects; serve as a resource to these investigators and others who are engaged in research and/or undergoing audits. You also will communicate and coordinate with research investigators, monitors, IRB, and sponsors on requests for additional information and/or supportive documentation. NOTE: This position will offer work-from-home opportunities. However, you also will need to work in our Nashville, TN office as requested based on project needs, so we are seeking a local candidate.

Vanderbilt's Department of Emergency Medicine is a leader in clinical care, education, and research. Our combined emergency departments see over 130,000 patients annually.
