Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Program Manager with the ability to coordinate and lead a diverse set of business projects that make up a program, including overseeing resource planning, risk management, assembling appropriate information to make decisions, and monitoring the progress of the entire program


Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage and oversee all aspects of the program

• Ability to coordinate and lead a diverse set of business projects which make up a program, including overseeing resource planning, risk management, assembling appropriate information to make decisions and monitoring progress of the entire program

• Experience in delivering technology enablement projects that have large business and external stakeholder changes to be delivered

• Experience in planning and facilitating sessions, innovative problem solving, possess strong PowerPoint presentation skills, be able to motivate project teams to deliver, and maintain positive relationships with project teams, sponsor(s), managers, and heads of divisions

• Apply strong strategic thinking to effectively align initiatives with broader organizational priorities and goals

• Familiarity with agile development practices to be able to understand the needs and work of our technical development teams

• Liaising with the product development team and end-users to monitor their progress and deliver updates

• Creates options, through team collaboration, to remove impediments that may be blocking the teams' progress

• Ability to create and deliver clear executive briefings to senior leaders

Deliverables:

• Project Plan(s)

• Statement of Work or Project Charter

• Decision Log

• Options/recommendations paper

• Risk and Issue log

• Presentations for Project and Executive Steering Committees

Hourly rate: $90-$100 per hour
