ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a strategic leader for website & marketing operations who will help manage the transition and development of the business’s online presence. This includes defining a comprehensive online strategy, information/content architecture, search engine optimization (SEO) strategy, and conversion optimization design. You will help deliver the strategy for our presence and brand as well as investments, tools and budget that align to the needs of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement overall web strategy, including evaluating technology platforms for optimal ROI. Manage the risks and execution of website transitions to new platforms as needed.

  • Translate complex functional, technical and business requirements into architectural designs using industry best practices.

  • Own the operational and project management of Software AG websites and web activities, including corporate website (www.softwareag.com), regional websites and other online properties.

  • Oversee the management of all content and technical updates to websites

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop content and structure as well as define strategic planning for new webpages and web applications

  • Partner with internal business units program managers to align all messaging around campaign goals and creative. Improve the “stories” on site, ad headlines and descriptions, and partner with our creative team on assets such as web banners and videos.

  • Select relevant keywords for our business to drive SEO for campaigns, keywords, content, and landing pages. Add negative keywords to reduce costs and prevent our ads from being shown to the wrong people.

  • Ensure we are mobile-ready for all properties. Landing pages must be relevant, establish trust, and be intuitive and easy to navigate.

  • Gauge and measure the interests and behaviors of our customers through internal and external data, with tools such as Google Analytics.

  • Work with our translation team to update all creative for geographic relevancy.

  • Track and speak knowledgeably about key performance indicators (KPIs), such as impressions, clicks, clickthrough rate (CTR), conversions.

  • Stay up to date with the latest SEM industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks

  • At least 5 years of experience with website platforms such as Adobe, HubSpot, WordPress.

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital transformation / digital assets management initiatives

  • Experience with architecting and developing solutions for highly scalable, highly available systems

  • Experience in managing multiple enterprise websites (corporate website, regional websites, blog, campaign pages, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Google products (Google Analytics, AdWords, Tag Manager, Search Console)

  • Experience managing and optimizing SEO and SEM

  • Knowledge of web KPIs, analytics and best practices

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $160,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents and award agreements.
