Your Opportunity

As a Workday Advisor, you will be at the forefront of providing first-level support to People Leaders and employees, addressing system issues, queries, and reports with efficiency and expertise. Your responsibilities will extend to case managing Workday system issues and resolutions across HR, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Absence modules, collaborating with external providers and internal IT to ensure a swift and effective resolution. Your ability to work collaboratively with other HR Systems advisors is essential and your willingness to work across the suite of or HR Systems which include Kronos and iChris.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide exemplary first-level support for Workday system issues, queries, and reports
  • Regularly monitor usage of Workday, identifying irregularity of activity and contact users immediately to resolve issues
  • Work effectively across a variety of communication channels – phone, MS Teams, email, and My Service Centre (ServiceNow)
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to solve customer issues quickly and efficiently, escalating issues to HR Systems following coordination with Resourcing & HR Services, Partnering & ER and Payroll when appropriate
  • As Workday subject matter expert, contribute to projects to optimise Workday performance and enhance user experience
  • Lead Workday User Group sessions with People Leaders, sharing new features, hints & tips for using Workday
  • Responsible for creation, coordination and maintenance of the Workday Support Manual, Quick Reference Guides, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge articles
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to users, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to navigate the Workday system effectively
  • Collaborate with the suite of HR Systems to maximise coverage for our users

Requirements for Success

  • Experienced user of Workday (Core HR, Recruitment, Onboarding and Absence modules)
  • Experience providing Helpline support in large organisations (24 hours on call), or experience in a customer service role in a HR environment providing entry level Workday systems support
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), empathy, and quick thinking with the ability to “think on your feet” and provide quick, effective solutions to customers
  • Comfortable working in a multi-tasking, high-energy environment. Creative analytical problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work remotely from home or from the office in a team environment as required
  • Demonstrate patience, conflict resolution, negotiation, and de-escalation skills
  • Ability to take ownership of cases to resolve challenging customer issues, escalating where required and following up when necessary
  • Experience in Kronos and or iChris will be an advantage
