We are currently looking for a Senior Counsel (m/w/d) in our Munich office, a key member of the DACH Legal & Compliance team.
Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance DACH & Southern Europe, as Senior Counsel DACH, you will be responsible for the provision of effective legal support to the Germany, Austria and Switzerland Haleon business.
These responsibilities include some of the following
You will counsel Marketing, Sales, and Support Functions on legal, compliance, transactional, and commercial issues, integrating your legal expertise with a deep understanding of business and risk management
Your role will involve providing practical legal solutions and recommending a course of action that supports the business with a commercial mindset
You will represent the organization externally to customers, suppliers, competitors, and government agencies, and manage external advisors to ensure optimal legal support
You will interpret new or pending legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising on strategic adjustments when necessary
Your expertise will be crucial in negotiating and reviewing contracts, managing litigation in collaboration with Haleon’s Global Litigation Department
You will advise on legal aspects of marketing, digital, and AI initiatives, and manage Haleon corporate entities, ensuring all operations are aligned with legal requirements
Qualifications
You bring experience as an in-house lawyer and possess full working proficiency in both German and English
Your interpersonal and communication skills are excellent, demonstrated through your effective interactions with teams, clients, and third parties
You have strong leadership abilities and excel in engaging proactively with diverse client groups while working effectively within a team
You are agile in decision-making, balancing speed, precision, and risk, and committed to delivering high-quality results
You are proactive in driving change, fostering resilience and well-being, continuously seeking opportunities to learn and build relationships, and managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externally
