This is a remote position.

Sales and Business Development Specialist (Wedding Planning Industry)

Part-Time: Monday to Thursday, 12 PM - 5 PM EST (Remote)

We are a high-end wedding planning business specializing in creating elegant and unforgettable events for our clients. As we grow, we are seeking a driven and personable Sales and Business Development Specialist to help us expand our client base and strengthen relationships within the wedding and events industry.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Prospect and Outreach:

    • Research and identify potential clients, venues, companies, and industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
    • Proactively reach out to prospects through email, phone calls, and networking events.
  2. Sales and Pitching:

    • Confidently present and pitch our wedding planning services to potential clients, tailoring the message to their specific needs and preferences.
    • Effectively communicate the value of our services to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  3. Relationship Building:

    • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, venues, and vendors.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects and build trust through consistent communication and professionalism.
  4. Follow-Up:

    • Regularly follow up with leads and opportunities to ensure no potential client is overlooked.
    • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities to track progress and results.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles, ideally within the wedding, events, or luxury services industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with clients and vendors.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for closing deals and exceeding targets.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Interest or experience in weddings or luxury events is a plus.
