Bookkeeper - Multi-Location Restaurant Group

Schedule:

  • Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 12 PM

Job Description

As a Virtual Bookkeeper, you’ll be the financial backbone of this dynamic restaurant group. Using industry-specific software like Restaurant365, you’ll manage crucial financial operations across multiple locations. This role offers a unique blend of traditional accounting and modern restaurant management, providing you with invaluable experience in a growth-oriented environment. You’ll have the opportunity to directly impact the company’s success by providing accurate financial insights that drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily financial transactions using Restaurant365
  • Process invoices and handle accounts payable/receivable
  • Reconcile bank activities and match payments to invoices
  • Generate and analyze key financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, labor reports, COGS)
  • Prepare weekly financial reviews for management
  • Maintain meticulous financial records
  • Contribute to financial decision-making with timely, accurate data
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other team members to optimize financial processes


Requirements
  • Accounting degree
  • 2-3 years bookkeeping experience, restaurant industry preferred
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial management
  • Proficiency in accounting software, willingness to master Restaurant365
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities
  • Fluent English with strong communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection for remote work
