The opportunity
The Cabin Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that the highest levels of cabin safety and service are provided to Adobe executives, clients and guests. Build and implement outstanding safety and service standards, train and lead those performing in a cabin role. Act as the primary interface between Aviation and the Employer of Record (EOR) for contract Cabin Safety Attendants. Promote an atmosphere of collaboration, teamwork and shared success.
The role functions in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Rules & Regulations.

What you’ll do
As a leader:
- Drive excellence through exceptional customer service, good judgment, ethical behavior, and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for selection, training, development, assessment for all contractors and provides performance feedback and mentoring;
- Fosters an environment of partnering and teaming by encouraging open dialog of collective experiences in promotion of continuous improvement and performance recognition;
- Provides input to the Aviation Leadership on cabin and customer service related issues;
- Develop the budget for cabin operations and act as required on budget performance and reporting requirements;
- Monitors department metrics and operational costs for industry benchmarking purposes.
As a key member of the crew:
- Functions as a flight crew member in coordination with the flight deck crew and under the direction of the trip Captain, with primary responsibility being passenger safety;
- Active participant in pre- and post-flight briefings and risk mitigations;
- Maintains all on-board safety equipment including the medical kits;
- Ensures proper operation of aircraft emergency, traveler productivity (communications, WiFi) and cabin entertainment systems, galley and cabin equipment;
- Possesses a sense of appropriate interaction regarding passenger service (Professional Distance) and maintains confidentiality regarding business conversations;
- Involved in the continued development and deployment of the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly cabin and forward lavatory environment during the flight;
- Plans menus, procures supplies and provides first class food & beverage service and presentation consistent with passenger expectations and Adobe’s service standards;
- Makes extraordinary efforts to fulfill passenger requests;
What you need to succeed
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates degree or equivalent FAR Part 91 flight operations experience required.
- Four to six (4-6) years of experience in an executive Cabin Safety role, preferably corporate or high net worth individuals.
- Proven track record of success working in and providing leadership in a team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and using technology to build efficiencies.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $127,400 -- $239,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
