The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Facilities Coordinator. In this role, you will provide vital administrative and project support for the facilities team, which manages major capital projects and the service center remodel program. This role supports effective project execution through consistent, proactive communication, tracking, and record management. Key responsibilities include coordinating and communicating with internal stakeholders, tracking dates, timelines, schedules, and budgets, and communicating with multiple external parties to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

 

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Serve as the main communication link between internal facility teams, project stakeholders, external vendors, and other organizational teams, ensuring clear and efficient information flow for capital and remodel projects.
  • Track costs and timelines for capital and remodel projects, coordinate with project managers on scheduling, and follow up on vendor invoicing and payments to ensure timely financial management.
  • Attend project meetings, document discussions, provide follow-up summaries, and ensure completion of assigned action items.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in facilities and/or construction
  • Minimum of three years of project coordinator experience, preferably in a retail or multi-unit maintenance environment
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage workflow focusing on priorities and deadlines
  • Clear, concise communication with all internal teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external vendor partners
  • Intermediate knowledge of Access and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and programs
  • Ability to understand and interpret elements, develop recommendations, and implement necessary processes for consistent compliance
  • Must be dependable and self-sufficient with strong follow-through
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external resources
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
