As a Proposal Writer on Virta’s Enterprise Marketing team, you will contribute directly to the success of the business by crafting compelling RFP and RFI responses and managing the end-to-end proposal creation process. In partnership with sales, marketing, and internal executive stakeholders, you’ll maintain a library of proposal responses that resonate with our healthcare audiences (health plans, employers), scale best-practices, and showcase Virta’s unique value.
Reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing, you will play an integral role in scaling Virta’s proposal strategy and have the opportunity to influence Virta’s broader enterprise marketing approach. We are looking for passionate self-starters who understand the impact of the right message at the right time.
Responsibilities
Research, coordinate, write, and produce responses to RFPs that clearly and persuasively address the buyer’s needs
Lead the management and prioritization of proposals to ensure on time completion while proactively considering how adapt processes to scale and improve
Own the RFP library and develop clear, concise, and differentiated client-facing messaging and positioning
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and senior leaders across Clinical and Product to craft effective messages as products and market needs evolve
Partner with internal teams to measure the impact of proposals on Virta’s sales bookings and revenue
Support Product Marketing initiatives such as developing sales content, conducting market research, or enabling commercial teams on new positioning and metrics.
90 Day Plan
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
Immerse yourself in Virta’s products, services and go-to-market strategy
Get to know the commercial team and internal SMEs partners
Take ownership of Virta’s RFP and RFI process including proposal intake, prioritization, deadline management, and RFP library
Start supporting proposal deals in partnership with Sales Directors
Must-Haves
4-6 years of experience in enterprise content creation, proposal writing, or a related role
Healthcare experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
