About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Animator to create a compelling trailer for their narrative-driven visual novel. The project requires someone who can effectively capture the game's dark, emotional themes while maintaining consistency with its anime-style aesthetics. This freelance position focuses on creating a high-impact promotional trailer that showcases the game's unique storytelling and artistic elements.

Responsibilities

• Create a captivating animated trailer that reflects the game's tone and themes
• Animate character movements and expressions in anime style
• Develop dynamic scene transitions and visual effects
• Integrate provided background art and assets into animations
• Create mood-appropriate special effects

Requirements

• Proven experience in anime-style animation
• Strong portfolio demonstrating narrative-focused animation work
• Professional experience with animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony)
• Understanding of Japanese animation techniques and principles
• Ability to convey emotional depth through animation
