We are seeking a Marketing Manager to help lead our local marketing initiatives!
Reporting directly to the Country Marketing Lead in Japan, this team will handle driving brand marketing activities for both currently commercialized indications and future launches. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional and cross-regional collaborators to ensure the detailed execution of strategic and tactical brand plans.
In this role, a typical day might include:
Leading brand marketing strategies in Japan and providing input into the development of the global brand strategy, functional plans, and budget.
Delivering the local brand planning design including analysing the competitive landscape, identifying key promotional opportunities, developing customer-centric and differentiated messages to key target audiences.
As part of the planning process, working in partnership with local counterparts in Medical Affairs to build and agree on an aligned brand strategy.
Collaborating with your colleagues to implement promotional activities defined in the brand plan.
Analysing drivers and barriers of brand performance (e.g. share of voice, market dynamics, competitive actions) and identifying and proposing actions to address opportunities or risks to performance.
Responsible for the creation and delivery of external collaborator engagement plans (including national congresses, HCP meetings etc) in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Crafting of local promotional materials aligned with the local and global brand plans for use by the sales force and via digital channels.
Working closely with the Sales Team in the development and execution of the Field Plan of Action, national/regional sales meeting execution and Field communications in collaboration with internal and external partners/customers.
Developing local promotional budget and handling the spend in line with approved budget.
This role might be for you if you have:
A bachelor’s degree
7+ years of biotech/pharma brand marketing experience
Expertise in handling ad agency and suppliers and developing annual budgets.
Strong integrity and ethics in behaviors, actions, and communications
Ability to travel when required 20% - 30%
A deep understanding of the local healthcare compliance codes and any regulations related to promotional activities.
Written and spoken English language skills.
Oncology marketing experience, required
Launch experience a plus.
