Job Summary

This role will serve as an integrator between business needs and Salesforce technical solutions, working closely with internal and external stake holders to leverage the power of SFDC to solve various issues. Execute a series of changes to significantly reduce PCS tech debt and upgrade key Salesforce technical components such as usage of the Lightning UI and 3rd party libraries. Provide guidance to staff on Salesforce best practices and identify standards for development changes for communication to all stakeholders.


Job Responsibilities

  • Programming, using Apex, Salesforce lightning component (AURA/LWC), JavaScript, and other development languages and tools
  • Assist the project team with design, development, implementation and administration of Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Service, IT and other various support departments to provide solutions
  • Support new and existing Salesforce user base with issues in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Develop application features and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, highly efficient, and well-documented code
  • Developing Lightning components both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components in JavaScript with Aura framework. Maintain fluency with Apex, Salesforce query, and Salesforce Search language (SOQL and SOSL)
  • Gathering requirements by providing solution options and highlighting dependencies with the existing implementation
  • Overseeing the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform (Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portals), and Tableau CRM) and integrations
  • Developing and configures solutions using Salesforce functionality (Lightning Components (AURA and LWC), APEX, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, and SOSL etc.)
  • Leading the complete development process from requirement analysis to deployment
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on technical implementations and documents and ensures that Salesforce best-practices and standards are followed
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures.
  • Participating in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Assisting in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
  • Collaborate with the larger development team to enhance our suite of external applications and services that are integrated with Salesforce
  • Assist with creating DocuSign Gen templates and map/configure 100s of fields between Salesforce and DocuSign Gen templates
  • Easily recognize Salesforce usage problems and craft solutions
  • Optimize legacy code for enterprise scalability
  • Document system configurations
  • Stay current with Salesforce related updates and features to recommend and implement within our system
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on programming/custom coding experience with Salesforce platform, requiring LWC and/or Aura AND Apex. (Experience should also include: SLDS, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch classes, SOQL, SOSL and declarative platform tools (Flows, Process builder, Lightning App Builder, etc.) 
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience leading implementation of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform in Lightning and have expert level working knowledge on major Salesforce.com technologies, data modeling, integration, and data migration.
  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce.com best practices, Architecture, Design, Development, Administration, and security model.
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development.
  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud development and customization.
  • Possess Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification (please include certification # on resume or in submission notes)
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development  (CI/CD)/Copado
  • Extensive understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap

Compensation Information

The average salary for this position is expected to be between $75,000 and $130,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
