About the role:
The Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the day-to-day running of the team, who in turn help our business secure its systems and infrastructure. This is a highly motivated and passionate team with broad experiences, who are happy to mentor and be mentored! The team’s goal is to minimise the impact of cybersecurity incidents, provide practical guidance for the response, coordinate recovery activities, and work to prevent future incidents from reoccurring.
The Information Security Coordinator’s primary role is to manage and direct security requests to the relevant teams, oversee the penetration testing and PCI vulnerability scanning processes, and manage other related Information Security tasks.
This role also encompasses key aspects of a Security Analyst, providing hands-on support in various cybersecurity functions. Coordination tasks will make up 80% of the role, while 20% will be dedicated to analyst responsibilities.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Managing the penetration testing program, liaising with software development teams, penetration testing teams, and cloud service providers.
- Coordinating regular activities such as PCI vulnerability scans and remediation actions.
- Tracking security incidents, security assessments, and actions from security audits.
- Liaising with Vendors and its Key Stakeholders
- Reporting on data analysis and security KPIs.
- Responding to Infosec queries and support requests.
About You:
- You’ll have a good understanding of Information technology and a strong desire to develop a career in information security.
- You’ll be technically literate, and will have strong Excel skills, and knowledge of other professional desktop programs within Microsoft Office or Google Suites.
- You’ll have demonstrably strong organisational skills and prior experience of working autonomously to define and execute a program of work.
- You’ll be an excellent communicator when writing or speaking, with good stakeholder management skills.
This would make you stand out from the crowd:
- Prior experience within a similar Information Security role would be desirable.
