Venesco is seeking a Data Governance Lead to support DASA(DES) JPEO CBRND TGL 35. We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to join our team at the US Army Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRND) Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO). The ideal candidate is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data  governance and policy, with a strong understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) and industry best practices. This role requires the ability to interpret and implement data policies effectively across the organization.

Basic Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in an applicable field plus one full academic year of graduate education in the specialized field;
• or, a bachelor's degree in a specialized field plus 2 years of applicable experience;
• or, a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 3 years of specialized experience
• Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Familiarity with data catalog implementations and data stewardship programs.
• Ability to interpret complex data policies and translate them into actionable plans.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in Defense sector
