Senior Linux Administrator

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Linux Administrator to support our work with a federal client. This is a fully remote role and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Candidates must have an ACTIVE Secret clearance.

 In this role you will:

• Administer, develop, test, and maintain Database Management Systems (DBMS) across one or more teams or clients
• Perform tasks related to backup/recovery, configuration management, and troubleshooting database systems
• Install and configure DBMS software, providing recommendations for modifications to improve performance and efficiency
• Design, implement, and maintain new databases while ensuring high availability and security of the data
• Provide technical expertise on Oracle databases and Linux systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain the integrity and optimization of DBMS and network systems

Candidates must have:

• 10 years of Linux administration experience
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle database management and DBMS optimization
• 10 years of Red Hat OS Administration experience
• 10 years of Oracle Network Cloud Service experience
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Salary: $100,000-$110,000
