Desktop Engineer
Westminster, CO or remote (based in Colorado)
Mountain Standard Time
3+ month contract with potential to go perm

Our prestigious, cutting edge space technology client is seeking a Desktop Engineer, experienced in Windows and Linux, to join their IT Vulnerability Management Fusion Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop systems in Windows and Linux environments.
• Implement and optimize patching mechanisms to meet SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with IT Security and the Vulnerability Management Fusion Team to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Document and standardize processes to ensure compliance and continuity.
• Train and support end-users on system updates and security best practices.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Windows and Linux desktop environments.
• Strong knowledge of patch management and automation tools.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
