Responsibilities
The Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for providing exemplary pre-sales support to the sales team focusing on territory and enterprise accounts. The Solutions Engineer will assist in driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts within their respective assigned territory, and meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals. This position will organize, plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the technical pre-sales engagement for the prospect. Additionally, this position will also retain post-sales relationships and expansion of existing accounts; partnering with our Customer Success team in supporting customer satisfaction, retention and renewals.

Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience
· Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Greater than two years of experience as a field solutions engineer, consultant, or sales engineer in the cybersecurity industry
· Excellent knowledge of general networking concepts, Linux
· Strong understanding of security and information event management (SIEM) and security analytics is critical. (implementation, configuration, integration, optimization)
· Hands on Experience with ArcSight, SPLUNK, Net Witness, QRadar, McAfee SIEM, LogRhythm or comparable SIEM technology
· Knowledge of scripting languages like Python/Perl
· Confident in front of customers and audiences including executive stakeholder interaction
· Passion for sales and tech - desire to ‘grow’ your solutions engineering career with a top-notch startup
· Coachable and able to take training/feedback with a positive approach
· Self-motivated and strong work ethic
· Clear, concise and effective communicator
· Strong presentation skills and commitment to customer satisfaction
· Demonstrated capability to handle Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations with Enterprise level prospects
· Provide exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical and product demonstrations
· Ability to drive customer satisfaction post-sales, including value recognition, technical issue resolution, retention and renewals
· Act as a business resource to the customer/prospect and provide “industry expert” executive level selling practices with consistent communication and on-going technical consultation
· Proactively drive Strategic and Enterprise account opportunities within key territory accounts
· Play a proactive “Technical Account Management” role within target accounts including relationship and business development activities
· Work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Product Managers, and Customer Success, the Solutions Engineer (SE) is the technical bridge between our Enterprise Business Representatives (demand generation) and their pre-sales customers
· Take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online and via phone
· Support the regional Sales Organization to ensure timely and successful closing of sales to potential customers
· Liaison between customers and Product Management to communicate relevant feedback and customer requirements
· Assist in planning and conducting mid/high-level meetings with customers and prospects
· Ability to quickly learn, apply and position technical knowledge related Anomali’s technology and competitor offerings
· This position is based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia and is not eligible for visa sponsorship
· Travel as needed to support the responsibilities of this role.
· Additional experience with Threat Intelligence is preferred
· Government clearance is preferred but not required
