Job description

We’re defining what it means to build and deliver the most extraordinary sports and entertainment experiences. Our global team is trailblazing new markets, developing cutting-edge products, and shaping the future of responsible gaming.

Here, “impossible” isn’t part of our vocabulary. You’ll face some of the toughest but most rewarding challenges of your career. They’re worth it. Channeling your inner grit will accelerate your growth, help us win as a team, and create unforgettable moments for our customers.

The Crown Is Yours

As Corporate Counsel on our Commercial Transactions team, you’ll work cross-functionally and guide decisions on various domestic and global legal matters. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders both internally and externally to create partnerships, close deals, and complete M&A due diligence. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, playing a key role in the organization’s continued expansion while ensuring compliance with all rules, laws, and regulations.

What you’ll do as Corporate Counsel
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including marketing, SaaS, affiliate, advertising, market access, non-disclosure, consulting services, promotional services, and other material agreements.

  • Assist in maintaining and revising privacy policies, terms of use, house rules, contest rules, and internal controls.

  • Provide guidance on contract negotiations to minimize company risks.

  • Coordinate with other internal functions to ensure internal business alignment and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.

  • Assist with post-acquisition integrations.

  • Understand, manage, and advise key stakeholders of legal and business risks.

  • Coordinate cross-functional legal input by working closely with other attorneys on your team.

What you’ll bring
  • At least 4 years of legal experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial transaction agreements.

  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution with excellent academic credentials.

  • Admission to the MA bar (or eligible for MA-authorized in-house counsel)

  • Ability to consider different legal perspectives and suggest practical solutions to complex problems.

  • Genuine desire to learn and adapt to an in-house legal environment in a technology-driven growth stage company.

  • Team player with a strong work ethic and dedication to producing the best-in-class legal work.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Outstanding written and oral skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of the gaming industry and working with advertising agreements is strongly preferred.
