Job description

What's the role?:

Drive product strategy for HERE's innovative solutions, focused on electric vehicle charging. Develop insights and trends on market opportunities, couple them with a deep understanding of HERE’s holistic business and the competitive landscape, and drive successful business implementation across all verticals.Own build/buy/partner decisions to create differentiated and compelling solutions for Automotive and multi-industry. Establish and manage KPIs to drive business growth and profitability.

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and market needs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, content and services integrated product road map, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer demands.
  • Prioritize product features, enhancements, and improvements based on market input, research, customer feedback, and business priorities.
  • Lead the ideation, validation, and development of new product concepts from inception to production release.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for (sustaining) innovation and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market, development and design teams to create customer-/user-centric products that meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.
  • Relentless focus on product quality, making internal as well as customer-facing quality KPIs (such as defect densitiydensity, first-pass yield, mean time to resolution, customer complains per feature, …) a central aspect of everyone’s role in delivering long-term product success
  • Set and achieve cost targets for the product portfolio.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize product quality and cost.
  • Work closely with development and data sourcing teams to develop effective integrated product road maps and quality KPIs.
  • Work closely with go-to-market teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and licensing models.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and partners.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, proposition, and performance to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that customer needs and feedback are incorporated into product decisions.
  • Conduct regular customer interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and improve product offerings.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Who are you?:
  • BS or MS degree in computer science or engineering background strongly preferred; MBA a plus
  • Significant (8+ years) work experience in Product Management or a related field (Program Management, Product Marketing), with a proven track-record of delivering products and services. Automotive/Parking/EV experience a plus.
  • Strong product management skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead in the face of complex technical challenges. 
  • Excellent oral and written Communication skills, coupled with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.  
  • Ability to reduce complex problems and requirements into implementable solutions
  • Ability to lead in ambiguous/dynamic situations, and communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner.
  • Superb planning and prioritization skills, ability to drive and maintain focus
  • Must be able to work within a complex, matrixed environment, and have a proven ability to influence and drive decisions through “dotted line” relationships.
  • Solid knowledge of Financial / Business Modelling
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Travel - Must be able to travel (~10%) and on short notice
